Which buttons and links are detected automatically?
100 Rocks detects common interactive elements such as buttons and links after Analytics consent.
An automatic action uses a privacy-safe structural identity based on the element type and nearby page structure. It does not collect the visible button text. A theme structure change can create a new automatic identity.
Where do I find the Actions & CTAs report?
- Open your project in 100 Rocks.
- Open Analytics, then Web Analytics.
- Find Actions & CTAs.
- Choose the reporting period.
- Use page and section filters when the same action appears in more than one place.
How do I give an important action a stable name?
Add to the button or link. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. Keep the value at 80 characters or fewer.

Shopify Liquid example:
Never put a name, email address, order number, cart value, or other personal information in the identifier.
What is the difference between clicks and unique sessions?
Clicks is the total number of measured activations. Unique sessions counts sessions with at least one click on that action.
If one shopper clicks the same action three times in one session, Clicks increases by three and Unique sessions increases by one. These values are not a click-through rate because the report does not divide by impressions.
Why is an action missing or split into several rows?
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| No actions appear | Tracker status, Analytics consent, selected period, and a real click |
| A named action is still Automatic | The attribute is on the clicked element in the published theme |
| One action appears more than once | The same stable ID is used and page or section filters explain the split |
| Clicks exceed unique sessions | This is expected when an action is clicked more than once per session |
