Which consent system does my store use?
Shopify stores use Shopify Customer Privacy as the single source for shopper choices. A compatible consent app must send its choices to Shopify. 100 Rocks does not read a vendor-specific consent signal.
Custom websites use the consent controls included with the 100 Rocks production tracker. The current custom-site setup is opt-in.
What can run before Analytics consent?
On Shopify, basic audience events such as a page view can be measured when the merchant's legal configuration permits it. Detailed behavior, persistent visitor identity, and measured test enrollment require Analytics consent.
On a custom website, the current production setup waits for the visitor's choice before collection starts.
A denial, revocation, Global Privacy Control signal, or study opt-out stops gated collection. It also clears gated visitor identity.
What does each consent purpose control?
The normal product UI does not offer separate toggles for scroll, pointer, clicks, or other behavior features.

What should I add to my storefront privacy notice?
Explain that your store uses 100 Rocks as an analytics processor. Describe the categories you enable, the purpose of measurement, retention, and how visitors can change consent or exercise privacy rights.
Suggested wording: We use 100 Rocks (Karen Charykov EI, France) to measure and improve our storefront. 100 Rocks processes page views, navigation and commerce events, device and browser information, approximate location, and pseudonymous identifiers on our behalf. With Analytics consent, it can also measure scrolling, clicks, pointer movement, and hesitation to create aggregate behavior reports. We do not use these identifiers to collect names, email addresses, payment details, or form values.

How long does 100 Rocks keep analytics data?
Raw events are kept for up to 90 days. Sessions and session metrics are kept for up to 12 months. Daily aggregate reports and page-layout references are kept for up to 24 months. Consent proof is kept for up to 25 months.
Generated heatmap versions follow the store's plan quota instead of a fixed 24-month window.
