What does the custom-site installation include?
The production snippet loads the 100 Rocks tracker and its consent controls. Custom websites do not use Shopify Customer Privacy or the Shopify Web Pixel.
Shopify checkout reporting is not available on a custom website.

Where do I copy the tracker snippet?
Counter shows the configured consent placement. Users with the required advanced permission can change it in Counter settings.
- Open 100 Rocks and select your project.
- Open Counter.
- Copy the production tracker snippet.
- Use the AI install prompt from Counter if another developer or coding agent will make the change.
Where should I paste the snippet?
If your site uses a Content Security Policy, copy the exact and origins shown in the AI install prompt. A blocked script or ingest origin prevents verification.
- Open the root layout or shared page template for the site.
- Paste the snippet immediately before the closing
tag. - Publish or deploy the change.
- Confirm that the snippet appears only once on the final page.
How do I configure consent on a custom website?
The first visit opens the 100 Rocks consent modal. Visitors can Reject all, Accept all, or customize their choices. All purpose toggles start off until the visitor opts in.
Analytics allows behavior measurement. Preferences allows consented audience-based product-page assignment. Marketing is saved but is not used by current measurement features.
The floating, footer, and link-triggered placement options only change how a visitor reopens preferences. The first-visit modal still opens automatically.
How do I verify the custom-site installation?
The current custom-site adapter is opt-in. Do not expect audience or behavior collection before the visitor makes a choice.
- Open the published site in a private window.
- Confirm that the 100 Rocks consent modal appears before measurement starts.
- Accept Analytics and browse one or two pages.
- Open Counter and confirm Receiving events is Yes.
- Confirm that Consent mode shows the production 100 Rocks banner.
How do I update or remove the custom-site tracker?
Recopy the pasted snippet only when Counter says the integration snippet version changed. Tracker code can update on the 100 Rocks server without changing your HTML.
To remove 100 Rocks, delete the snippet and any custom preferences link, publish the site, then confirm that no tracker request is made.
