Troubleshoot tracking and missing data

Follow the symptom that matches your store, verify the expected source, and collect useful details before contacting support.

Why is my Shopify store not sending events?

If Consent mode says Dev, remove the old development loader and use the production theme app embed.

  1. Open the published theme in Shopify Theme Editor.
  2. Confirm that the 100 Rocks app embed is on and the theme was saved.
  3. Open the live storefront in a private window.
  4. Confirm that a Shopify or compatible consent banner appears.
  5. Accept Analytics and visit a page.
  6. Open Counter and check for a fresh theme-extension event.

Why is my custom website not sending events?

An ad blocker can prevent the banner or tracker from loading. Test again with extensions disabled before changing the snippet.

  1. Confirm that the production snippet appears once before .
  2. Check that Content Security Policy allows the exact script and ingest origins shown by Counter.
  3. Open a private window and confirm that the 100 Rocks consent modal loads.
  4. Accept Analytics and visit a page.
  5. Check the browser network panel for a blocked tracker or ingest request.

Why are behavior or action reports empty?

Behavior and Actions & CTAs require Analytics consent and a completed behavior snapshot. Counter can show a recent page event before detailed Analytics processing finishes.

Check the selected 30-day or 90-day period and the card's device filter. Low traffic or no matching device traffic can leave one card empty while others have data.

Why are Shopify purchases missing?

A checkout event without a valid is dropped. Payment is not required to verify pixel delivery, but a completed test order is required to verify purchase reporting.

  1. Confirm that the theme embed creates storefront events.
  2. Confirm that the Web Pixel shows Connected and has a recent product or cart event.
  3. Set Shopify Settings, Customer events, App pixels, 100 Rocks, Data to Always on.
  4. Complete a new test visit after accepting Analytics.
  5. Confirm that checkout uses the same visit created on the storefront.

Why is a product-page variant not showing?

Confirm that the PDP Container block is on the published product template, the variant is approved, and an active audience is connected to it in Serving.

Audience matching requires Preferences consent and the metrics used by the audience. If consent or a required metric is unavailable, Serving fails closed and shows the baseline.

Seeing the baseline is expected when no audience assignment applies.

What should I send 100 Rocks support?

Send the project name, storefront URL, approximate test time with timezone, browser and device, the Counter status shown, and the exact symptom.

For Shopify, include whether the published embed is on, whether the Web Pixel is connected, and whether App Pixel data is set to Always on. For custom sites, include any browser console or Content Security Policy error.

Do not send customer names, email addresses, order details, cookies, access tokens, or screenshots that contain personal data.
