Understand Dashboard and Analytics

Use Dashboard for a recent project overview and Analytics for detailed 30-day or 90-day reports.

What does Dashboard show?

Dashboard is a concise view of the last 24 hours. It highlights recent sessions and activity, a top landing page, and the most active Daily Activities segment.

Use it to confirm that a project is active and to spot a recent change. It is not the full reporting workspace.

What does Analytics show?

Analytics lets you switch between the last 30 and 90 days. Human Analytics shows Daily Activities and behavior distributions. Web Analytics shows sessions, conversion, returning visitors, acquisition, technology, landing pages, and Actions & CTAs.

Most cards have their own All, Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile filter. Changing one card does not change the others.

Which reports need Analytics consent?

Behavior distributions, action clicks, and returning-visitor reports use consented data. Returning visitors also need the persistent visitor identifier created after Analytics consent.

Acquisition and other audience reports can use measurable all-traffic data where the store's consent configuration permits it. Each report states when its cohort is narrower.

Why can 100 Rocks totals differ from Shopify?

100 Rocks excludes bots and sessions without a valid page view from merchant-facing session totals. Consent can reduce behavior and returning-visitor counts. Ad blockers, strict browser settings, or an incomplete install can also reduce measured traffic.

A Shopify historical baseline can fill a day before 100 Rocks measurement exists. It is labeled as Shopify baseline data and does not create fake tracker sessions.

When do reports update?

Dashboard is designed for recent activity. Detailed Analytics cards depend on processed sessions and report rollups, so they can update after the first event appears in Counter.

Keep the selected period and device filter in mind before treating an empty card as an install problem.

Where do I check installation status?

Open 100 Rocks, select the project, and open Counter. Counter shows the tracker, consent mode, and Shopify Web Pixel status.

Use Troubleshooting if Counter is live but a specific report remains empty.
